The sight of the moon above the clouds and amidst the stars.
The feeling of being on cloud nine. Literally. Flying over a film of clouds.
Witnessing the sunrise over the horizon and the clouds.
I wished you were there with me.

Although there have been numerous goodbyes, they have never been any easier.
They still remain to be difficult and heart-breaking but it has to be done.

and so i'm back in melbourne. with placement to go through.
updates will be up soon. regarding how bad/good placement is and other events!

this is getting more and more terrifying!
it's worse than the practical exams i've done. oh my god. and i thought my practical exams were the worst ones!

so i've got 2 more days left. 2 more days to show that i can come out and work together with them as a physio. 2 more days to show that i'm not all dymb and nerves, that i know my stuff. 2 more days to show them all the good things and not the bad things. 2 more days to not stuff up.

so far monday was good, both in the morning and the afternoon. however, today was abit of a bummer just cos i've gone down a notch from where i was at at the end of last week. sigh!

insya'allah.. i'm praying hajat almost every night now. may i pass this placement and be able to come back for a month in january.

i still cant believe i had the guts to call in sick, though i know that it might impact on what they think of me.
but oh wells, insya'allah they see me for who i am and not some dumb girl.. i'm more than that.
i hate having to prove myself all the time.
insya'allah with all the prayers, things will be fine! :)

okie a couple of people have requested me to do a proper blog update. so here goes..

1. the reason i have not been updating that regularly is because i have been busy/ caught up preparing for my attachment/work. and the only break i had, i decided to use it wisely and that was lazing around and reading tonnes of books. i reckon i read over 12 books in the 3-week break that i had.

2. when the break was over, i was again caught up with attending a preclinical briefing and also orientations, so that we dont get lost or feel like we've been thrown into the deep end when we start "work". so that got me looking for things that i needed for placement. so i decided to do some shopping.. for stationeries! so got myself a file, another compartment so i can put my pens and what not in my file, and also a note pad for my scribbles of treatment sessions and also assessment results. and after that's done, it was time for me to revise my stuff because i cant possibly look like an idiot while i'm on placement. we are meant to show that we are all geniuses and that we are ready for the working world.

3. placement (work) started. so the first day was orientation still and also a couple of observations. 2nd day was observations and also assisting supervisors and then on wednesday, we got our OWN patients! and from now on we will be handling both our own patients and also assisting with our supervisor's patients. so one week is done and i'm so grateful! because as you all know, i have to be aslp by 10pm (melb-meaning 8pm spore) and get up at 5.30am(melb-meaning 3.30am spore) to get to work on time. so yea it's been a very very busy few months.. so bear with me if i dont update that frequently from now on..

4. anyhows, first week was good.. the only thing that keeps coming up is that my voice is a little high pitched and for the elderly patients that i have (most of them), it's better for them if they hear a deeper voice, cos most of them are hard of hearing. and also, my supervisors think i speak a little too fast.. haha no surprise there! but yeah, now i gotta practise my DEEP CLINICIAN VOICE.

5. i hope by running around the department, i'm able to keep fit and maybe lose a bit of weight too.. hahah cos i'm essentially only eating really 3 meals a day.. no time to snack in btwn etc. and also fasting month is coming and that's during my last 2 weeks of work.. so i'm hoping that i'll be able to cope just fine cos no of patients we handle increases as the week goes by..

6. lastly! we'll be doing hydrotherapy from next week onwards.. once a week! so exciting. and that's basically doing exercises in a warm-heated pool.. oh whee! something to pass the time on a monday at work.. hehehhe

for the poeple who requested me doing a proper update, hope u are pleased and not bored by this entry.. hahahha!
the next entry would probably a photo-entry, of a friend's 21st birthday party here in melb, national day pics (we are streaming it live at uni so that means it's from 7.30pm to 11pm for us, dont know how i'm gonna get up the next day for work!) and probably a couple of pictures regarding work. hahaha...

till then!
xoxo
